I have a BlackBox "programme" or Tool that someone else wants to use. However her computer is a Mac.
Is it practical to run a BlackBox installation on a Mac (I am guessing after installing some version of Wine), and how does one go about doing this? I have NO Mac knowledge at all.
Robert
(Actually I have vague memories of running Oberon/F on a PowerPC emulating a 68000 in software, with a 68000 software emulator of a floating point unit. Not a happy experience!)

The WineHQ home page says that wine is available for macOS 10.8 and higher.
See https://wiki.winehq.org/MacOS.
The current Macs are Intel based and wine is for i386 (32-bit) Windows programs.
It should be possible to run BlackBox.

We use BlackBox system at my work. Two of my associates use Macs, and run BlackBox using some version of Wine.
I use ChromeBooks and ChromeBoxes, and run BB using Wine hosted on ChrUbuntu (ChromeBoxes) and Wine hosted on ubuntu, running using Crouton on a ChromeBook.
BlackBox runs fine on either Macs or Chromebooks.
