ALERT: VRS support terminated by hosting provider

Post by Josef Templ »

ALERT

Our hosting provider terminated support for VRS, which is the kind of virtual server blackboxframework.org was built on.
The center is trying to arrange for a new plan probably based on KVM.
However, there can be service interruptions until everything is set up again
and data is migrated to the new platform.

It may be a good idea to make a copy of all things that you don't want to loose...

Upgrade Redmine to version 3.4.13, now it works with current debian and Ruby ruby 2.5.8
Next milestone is to check BlackBox build pipeline :-)

Wiki also works well, however it lost binding to Wiki group on this board. So you need manually restore password there by email. But you need to wait a little until mailing system will works better. Gmail does not allow our letters yet. Should be fixed by EDIS soon.
Anyway new members can register and edit Wiki now. You are welcome to make some BlackBox Tutorials and Wiki Notes.

EDIS fixed the reverse DNS setting (PTR record) for our new IP address.
So, email should be working again.

Emails working well :) I got many many emails about new posts from bots. Maybe they studied, how to solve our registration question. I changed question to another and deleted spam bots and their messages.
