How to move a document to the second monitor?

Postby Zinn » Tue Jan 03, 2017 9:05 am

Dear Blackbox User.
I can move a form with the mouse outside the BlackBox windows to a second monitor.
I can't move a document to a second monitor, because I can't move it out of the BlackBox windows like a form.

If I open a Form as an Aux or Browser window it is constrained by the Main BlackBox window.
If I open it as a Tool window it can be moved to the second screen.

If I try to open a normal text document as a Tool window I get some nasty crashes (Ports.SetSize precondition violations).

It's not ideal but what you can do is 'Restore Down' your BlackBox Window so it is not full screen and then drag the edges so that the window spans both monitors. You can then move documents within the BlackBox window across your monitors.

Ivan, yes it is, but I have no contact to X512 and I don't know the current state of her/his project and I have no permission to use the sample from 2014.

Fortunately X512 is the member of this board.
