Is there overhead to using WordPress as compared to, say, an English only site?

WordPress is easy to use CMS, so everybody can fill the pages easily.

Other most popular CMS is Drupal, Joomla and DocuWiki, but I have less experience with them.
OberonCore website made with DocuWiki.

I remember we already discussed about list of required features/software for web-site of community but cannot find it in Blackbox mailing list.

So I put it again:
  1. Wiki:
    1. documentation
    2. books
    3. history of Oberon
    4. links to various Oberon implementations.
    5. HowTo
    6. code demos
    7. downloads (links to BlackBox distributions and component repositories)
    8. training video materials
  2. Blog:
    1. news in software world
    2. announcements of community
    3. articles about application in different domains
    4. interviews
    5. etc.
  3. Redmine: project management (development of framework and components)

I like Worpress, because it is easy to start with, the functions are quite good, there are good add-ons for SEO, it can be used for site contents maintenance and for blogging (which is good for SEO, too).

Aside from WP, I have (less) experience with TYPO3, which is OpenSource, but not as intuitive as WP. Also, AFAIK, TYPO3 does nto have blogging, so WP has more functionality. Both are free systems, so no costs, no support. WP has AFAIK the largest user base of all CMS/Blogging systems, and thus if there are any problems, there are enough forums to ask around.

Mudzi suggested to try Tribiq in Russian forum.

I have played with it a little. It is very good for multi-language.

Let you try:
