Re: Error message under Wine when installing Pac Converters
I have tested it under Debian running in a VirtualBox and didn't find any problems. Can you look at the size of the broken and unbroken code files? Any difference? Stupid I didn't look into that, because there's a difference indeed: the broken file has 0 bytes... (the unbroken 24.688 bytes). Can yo...

Error message under Wine when installing Pac Converters
Recently I tried to install subsystem Pac (from the CPC website) in a new installation of BlackBox (version 1.7.1.1014 running under Wine in macOS) and ran into an error message of BlackBox when activating command PacConverters.Install: "command error: corrupted code file for PacAPI". I ha...

Testing BlackBox 1.7-rc1.606: some issues
Hi all, First of all I would like to thank the Center members for the hard work they have done to keep BlackBox CB alive and kicking! While testing I encountered very little issues, but I'd like to draw attention to two points: 1. Subsystem Ctl no longer has interface modules to older versions of Ex...

Re: LLVM backend for BlackBox?
Do you think it's feasible to write LLVM back-end for BlackBox? Then maintain back-end after being written? Are any LLVM back-end for compilers of Oberon family? John Gough has considered to port the Gardens Point Component Pascal (GPCP) compiler to LLVM. See https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/GPC...

Re: how to compile a pascal module from command line
Maybe you should have a look at the Bb subsystem by Oleg N. Cher: https://github.com/Oleg-N-Cher/XDev
It consists of two modules, BbCmdLine and BbConsole, which provide access to and output to the Windows command line.
Hoping that might help,
Regards,
Hans Klaver
