Re: Tech-support subgroup
We propose the following tasks we can handle for the Center: 1) Deploy the project resources on the hosting selected by Center (or selected by us if this task assigned also). 2) Mantain the servers / web hosting. 3) Mantain the site & forum (configuring and so on). OberonCore, I second your pro...

Re: "Center" forums restrictions
Vlad, I think that between Ivan (who is a center member), you and Alex (as not center members) on one side and the rest of the active center members there is a fundamental difference in opinion on what the community needs and how to do things. This paradigm difference is the cause of the chaos and t...

Re: "Center" forums restrictions
Hey, guys, feel free to enjoy absolute freedom on your own forum ;) Thank you for your offtopic. It is fun, but useless. So, how exactly is it "off topic" to the discussion of "center forums restriction"? I think this is 100% on topic: If someone does not like what the center me...

The idea of Rene was, that it will decrease moderation needs.

Re: "Center" definition
If the name sets the tone, then it is imperative, that we do not fixate on the name, as long as the role is not fixed. Otherwise we would prejudge the role by the name, and this would be dead wrong, IMHO.

Re: "Center" definition
I'm not sure that the name is really what defines us, and so I see this currently as a non-issue. Just my 2c.

Re: Hosting for the project
If the hosting is not critical, and if (as Ivan said) there is no reason forcing us to move away from the current host, then we should just stay here until more important topics are solved.

Re: Forum languages
In that case, I agree. Currently we seem to need English, Russian, German, probably French in the future.
